Papa Coumba Faye, MD, MPH

Coordinator for French-speaking Africa

Dr. Papa Coumba Faye coordinates SIVAC Initiative activities in African French-speaking countries. In this role, he provides support to countries in the creation and implementation of NITAGs. He works with various regional organizations and technical partners and is the primary focal point for activities conducted with the West Africa Health Organisation (WAHO).

Prior to joining AMP in June 2009, Dr. Faye worked at the Senegalese Ministry of Health as district medical officer, Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) coordinator, and medical prevention director.

Dr. Faye obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a medical degree from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar (Senegal).
