To achieve its goal of enhancing evidence-based decisions on immunization and vaccines, SIVAC focuses on the following areas:
- Supporting NITAG creation
- Supporting NITAG strengthening
- NITAG Resource Center and knowledge sharing
- Partnerships
Some activities (e.g., NITAG creation and strengthening) are targeted at a select number of low- and middle-income countries; others (e.g., knowledge sharing) are transversal and involve all participating countries as well as NITAGs worldwide and members of the global immunization community. All activities are conducted in collaboration with local, regional, and international partners.
