Partnerships are critical to ensuring optimal coordination between global and regional efforts to improve evidence-based decision making related to immunization and vaccines.
That’s why SIVAC works with global health stakeholders and complementary programs and initiatives. We strive to build synergies and to align our strategy and activities with those of our partners to guarantee maximum effectiveness and relevance. We constantly assess our approach to make sure it promotes national capacity building and information sharing between NITAGs.
To build sustainable partnerships and to develop project activities, SIVAC participates in various WHO meetings (global, regional, ad hoc), GAVI sub-regional working groups, and other events. In addition, SIVAC co-organizes meetings with global health partners on specific immunization topics.
An external technical advisory panel (ETAP), composed of key players from various organizations, advises the SIVAC team throughout on all project activities.
